All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law. Light a Lantern website is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Authorised employees within the Light a Lantern company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers.

However, Customer records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our suppliers if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. Customers have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Customer Records we keep, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request.

Light a Lantern will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party.

 

 3.    Exclusions and Limitations

The information on the Light a Lantern web site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Light a Lantern:

 4.    Payment and Making a Purchase

All major Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal and Moneybookers are all acceptable methods of payment. To make a purchase on Light a Lantern website you are required to complete a simple checkout process and will be requested to make a payment at the end of it before the goods can be dispatched to you. You will be guided through the checkout and asked to input your personal data to complete the transaction. Upon placing your order, we will send you an order confirmation email that will advise you that we have received your order request. It’s at this point that we accept your order and the contract is formed. Light a Lantern reserve the right to cancel an order should there be an issue with stock levels or payment details, or the identification of a pricing or product description error. All purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology and a secure server.

 

 5.    Import Duties and VAT

Tickle Me Ltd trading as Light a Lantern is registered for UK VAT. You will be charged VAT on your purchase. Please note that all shipments outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the shipment reaches your country. As Light a Lantern has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer.

 

 6.    Delivery

Light a Lantern aims to process all orders within 24-hours from receiving the order. Orders placed before 11am would normally be dispatched on the same day unless there is a problem or query with the order, which we will advise the customer about immediately. Standard UK orders will be posted using a tracked 48-hour delivery method. Express Next Day delivery option is available for orders placed before 11am. Standard EU orders take 3-5 working days. Standard International non-EU orders may take up to 5-9 working days. Read full details on our postage charges

 

7.    Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Customer satisfaction is top priority for Light a Lantern. We endeavour to supply only the best quality products, however, our “no quibbles” guarantee means that if you are not entirely happy with our goods you can return them to us within 7 days for a replacement or a full refund. Goods must be received in original unused condition and packaging with all components intact. Please ensure that you include full order details otherwise your refund may be delayed.

All products returned to Light a Lantern will be thoroughly checked by our Returns Department and only then will a refund, replacement or exchange be authorised and processed. Returns are usually processed within 7 working days of receipt. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. You will be responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods. We will refund the returns postage for faulty/ damaged or incorrect goods (see below).

 9.    Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

All Light a Lantern products are individually checked before posting. However, in the unlikely event of an item being faulty, damaged or incorrect then please contact Light a Lantern by email within 7 days, quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement.

If you are returning an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will happily refund your costs associated in returning it to us (please enclose a copy of your postage receipt when you return the item, so that we know how much to refund you for your postage). Please send your parcel by Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery service. Your original delivery charge will also be refunded if you are returning the whole order and you have requested a refund for the goods. Any items returned to us should include all parts, accessories, instructions and packaging where possible.

 

 10.  Log Files

Light a Lantern website uses IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.

The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and conditions. By accessing Light a Lantern website and buying our products you consent to these terms and conditions and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of such access.
